Neal (Michael Raymond-James) is coming back to ABC's Once Upon a Time!

The midseason premiere of Once Upon a Time, which also just so happens to be the 100th episode of the show, will feature the return of Neal, according to a new Entertainment Weekly report.

Of course, Neal died in season 3 so this would be his first appearance on the show since then. It is unknown exactly how he will be appearing in the midseason premiere, though Jennifer Morrison (who plays Emma) told the publication why it may not be in the Underworld.

Emma, Regina & Others Are 'Hounded' In Underworld On 'Once Upon a Time'?

"As far as I understand, Hades [Greg Germann] only has people that have unresolved issues," she said. "Neal died pretty resolved. He died a hero, he died knowing why he was dying and making that choice, and that didn't involve taking on the Darkness. Hook [Colin O'Donoghue] took on all of the darkness of the Dark Ones in order to sacrifice himself, so that was clearly a choice that involved Darkness. As far as I understand, Neal's death wouldn't be considered wrapped up in Darkness in any way, so I guess that would mean he would go somewhere else. I don't totally know."

The midseason premiere features the return of many Once Upon a Time characters from the show's five-year history. Cora (Barbara Hershey), Peter Pan (Robbie Kay) and Sidney Glass (Giancarlo Esposito) will all appear in the 100th episode, and other characters like Cruella de Vil (Victoria Smurfit) and Milah (Rachel Shelley) will be back later in the season.

Once Upon a Time returns for the second half of season 5 on Sunday, March 6 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
