The upcoming second half of Once Upon a Time's fifth season will not be a fun one, at least according to one star.

Emma, Regina & Others Are 'Hounded' In Underworld On 'Once Upon a Time'?

Sean Maguire, who plays Robin Hood on Once Upon a Time, recently spoke with TVLine about the upcoming Underworld arc and how it will be particularly dark.

"We're going to the Underworld, so I don't expect much good stuff is going to happen! But as to where it's going to lead [for Robin], I can't say," he noted. "There are obstacles everywhere - a lot of bad people from the past are coming back and they are not too happy with our heroes. If Once Upon a Time was the Star Wars franchise, this would be Empire Strikes Back. It's going to get dark, it's going to be scary, and there will be surprises."

How Will Neal Return For 100th Episode Of 'Once Upon a Time'?

The midseason premiere, which also serves as the show's 100th episode, will feature numerous villains from the show's past, including Cora (Barbara Hershey), Peter Pan (Robbie Kay) and Sidney Glass (Giancarlo Esposito). This, plus the return of Cruella de Vil (Victoria Smurfit), will surely prove difficult for our heroes.

Should we expect one of our heroes to die in the upcoming arc? That remains to be seen, but Maguire's comments about the second half of the season being "dark" and "scary" will definitely have fans' minds racing.

Once Upon a Time returns for the second half of season 5 on Sunday, March 6 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
