The Starz actors have been dogged by romantic rumors since filming began on season 1, and now that the pair are busy doing press for season 2, fans have started to speculate about their off-screen lives once more. For those hoping Jamie and Claire's chemistry has spilled into the everyday, Heughan is here to burst your bubble.

It's clear Heughan and Balfe's excellent portrayal of their characters' intimate moments has fueled recent gossip, and perhaps a cooling of the fictional couple's romance will help put the rumors on ice.

"Claire is pregnant, and Jamie is suffering from the trauma of season one and what happened to him at the end. So their relationship is in a very strange place now," Heughan told Elle. "The honeymoon is kind of over."
