'Captain America: Civil War' Trailer: How Will Film Connect To 'Agents Of SHIELD', Clark Gregg Drops Teasers

Coulson (Clark Gregg) put Ward (Brett Dalton) in the ground during the midseason finale, but the villain's death was short lived. The Maveth Inhuman quickly resurrected Hydra's champion, and when Agents of SHIELD returns this March, viewers will get to meet Ward's latest iteration.

"[Hive] is going to have its own unique twist and be very different from what fans have seen so far," executive producers Jed Wheadon and Maurissa Tancharoen told Nerdist. "We will see similarities that pay homage to the original character, but fans will see that Hive is taking an exciting new direction in the world of Marvel's Agents of S.H.IE.L.D."

Elizabeth Henstridge (Simmons) previewed the baddie's powers while speaking at Wizard World Portland.

"Now Ward is Hive and takes on the memories of people he's killed, so that's going to have some interesting situations," Henstridge explained, according to ComicBook.com.
