Caila Talks About Her 'Anger' Over Being Eliminated
The reality star spoke to Us Weekly during the Women Tell All taping and admitted he is betrothed to one of the two women, but also shared that saying he loved both women during their overnight fantasy dates proves to cause a big problem in his new relationship off-camera, and that it did cause him and his fiancee to struggle a bit post-show.
"I've had tough conversations," he said. "I put her through hell and back."
JoJo Has A Disastrous Hometown Date
However, he did say that they've been working through it, and have successfully gotten through the issues that have affected their happiness.
"We continue to move forward because we continue to communicate," he said. "She's been supportive and loving, and ultimately we're going to get through it. We have gotten through it."
He also said that despite it causing some tension with the woman he plans to marry, he doesn't regret telling both women he loved them, because doing that led him to the place he is in now-giving him a reason to be genuinely happy.
"You can go back and regret things," he said. "But it put me in a place now where I'm very happy.
As for his betrothed? She hasn't been watching every episode of the current season, in an effort to protect herself from feeling hurt or betrayed by what she sees.
"She's seen a lot, but not a ton," Higgins admits. "There's moments where it's like, 'That sucks,' and of course it does."
The Bachelor airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
