Sorry, Simon and Clary shippers, Shadowhunters is giving Climon a miss for the time being.

'Shadowhunters' TV Show: Isabelle On Trial! Find Out What Will Jace & Clary Do About It

The Mortal Instruments adaption is keeping fans on their toes, accelerating storylines and throwing twists from every direction. While the format certainly keeps book readers from getting board, it also appears to have eliminated Clary (Katherine McNamara) and Simon's (Alberto Rosende) City of Ashes' tryst.

Simon's sudden novitiate status with the vampires has turned his once thriving friendship upside down, and while he adjusts to his new preternatural abilities, fans should expect the newest member of the undead to harbor no small amount of ill will towards the girl who introduced him to the world of the supernatural.

"You'll definitely see resentment," Rosende told TV Line. "Not only was Simon dragged into this world by her, but when he tried to call for help, no one was there for him. He can't even fathom that Clary, his best friend, could do this to him"

Don't worry - Simon may live forever, but his anger wont. In fact, he's not even sure if some of his rage is totally justified.

"At the same time, he can't say he wouldn't have done the same thing for Clary," The actor explained. "There's a constant conflict where he's angry with her, but he can't be angry at her."

With only five episodes left in the season, do you think Climon will get even a spark of romance? Find out when Shadowhunters airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Freeform.
