CBS's How I Met Your Mother is set to make its season eight return next week on Monday night with episode 19, The Time Travelers.

While loyalists of the show should be well aware by now that a major character will be making the trek to Rome, Carter Matt reported on March 12 that the show would be sending Lily (Alyson Hannigan) and the rest of the Erikson clan on the trip for her new line of work.

Fortunately for Lily, she was able to quit her kindergarten teaching job in order to chase her dream career in the art industry as an art dealer for The Captain (Kyle MacLachlan).

However, he appears to be running her around like a chicken with its head cut off trying to find him artwork.

New casting for an Italian art auctioneer seems to indicate that Lily will be hanging around Rome for a reasonable amount of time for future art projects.

Carter had even reported details on the episode to follow, which is titled The Fortress, and The Captain is reportedly set to drive Lily up a wall once again.

Meanwhile, Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) will be pressured into doing something that he had no interest in doing before, which is putting his bachelor pad up for sale. The respective residence had played host to more romantic escapades than can be counted.

CBS released the full synopsis on episode 20:

"As their wedding date approaches, Robin tells Barney that it's time they address the issue of where they will live as a married couple. She makes it clear that she will never live in his apartment - where all of his sexual escapades took place. Barney begrudgingly agrees, but insists that the apartment go to somebody worthy of its greatness. Meanwhile, Marshall takes drastic measures when he can no longer deal with Lily's constant absences due to her demanding job with the Captain."

How I Met Your Mother will air next on Monday, March 18 at 8 p.m. EDT on the CBS network.
