The next episode of Survivor: Kaoh Rong is slated to feature a big medical evacuation, and Jeff Probst recently previewed just how dramatic it will be.

Will Tai Trang Further Injure Himself Next Time On 'Survivor'?

Episode 4 is set to be the first (of many?) medievacs this season. The "Next Time on Survivor" preview openly teases the audience about the big incident, taking place at a particularly grueling challenge.

Probst spoke with Entertainment Weekly recently and confidently admitted episode 4 is "the most dramatic and maybe most compelling episode we've ever done."

Does Jeff Probst Want To Quit 'Survivor' Anytime Soon?

The dangers of Kaoh Rong have been hyped up from the get-go. This was made evident even in the first episode, with Jennifer Lanzetti having a bug crawl into her ear. Aubry Bracco had an emotional breakdown. Tai Trang injured himself slightly while climbing up a tree to find a Hidden Immunity Idol as well. And the overall conditions seem very hot and grueling.

Medical evacuations have been relatively common on Survivor ever since the second season, The Australian Outback. Michael Skupin falling into the fire was not only a scary moment of television, it also proved just how real the show is, at a time when some skeptics accused the show of being staged.

Survivor has had plenty of grueling seasons over the course of its run, including Africa, Guatemala and Samoa, so the fact that Kaoh Rong has been advertised as the most intense season ever is a foreboding sign of things to come.

Survivor: Kaoh Rong airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
