In season 7 NCIS: Los Angeles has revealed Callen's name, exposed Deeks' murderous past, and put Sam's family in the crosshairs. Now, it's time for the series to turn its attention to Owen Granger.

Over the years, the CBS drama has aired seven "name" episodes, e.g. "Callen, G," "Blye, K," and "Lange, H," each of which dug into its namesake's past. This spring, the assistant director will get the same treatment in "Granger, O."

Set to air as episode 20, according to Spoiler TV, the upcoming hour will no doubt deal with Granger's connection to Jennifer Kim (Malese Jow). The Korean spy entered the story at Christmas, and Granger quickly raised eyebrows when revealed that he knew her mother.

"Granger has always been shrouded in a little mystery. We'd talked about exploring his past, kicking around this idea that he spent time in South East Asia," executive producer R. Scott Gemmell told TV Insider in December. After Granger escorted Ms. Kim to Washington, Callen and Co. started to "wonder why he would take such a personal interest in what just seems like a routine suspect. That's a hint that there is more there than what meets the eye."
