Lady Gaga has confirmed that she will be returning to FX's American Horror Story!
Angela Bassett Will Make History In Season 6 Of 'American Horror Story'
Gaga spoke with Z100 Radio this morning about her Oscar nominated song "Til It Happens to You" and the prevalence of sexual assault. She also talked about coming back for another season of American Horror Story.
"Yes," she confirmed, after some hesitation. "I can't promise you how or when or anything like that."
How Did Alexandra Daddario Feel About Making Out With Lady Gaga On 'American Horror Story'?
This is the first official announcement from Gaga or anyone else that she will be returning to American Horror Story. The pop star played The Countess in American Horror Story: Hotel, a role that won her a Golden Globe earlier this year.
While many fans are happy that she is indeed returning, her statement that she cannot "promise you how or when" is something to keep in mind. It is not entirely clear based on her statement that Gaga is coming back for season 6 this fall or if she is just generally coming back for another season at some point.
Gaga also has a new album coming out this year, so it's possible that she will be too busy to have a substantial role in season 6.
Very little has been revealed about season 6 of American Horror Story. The only confirmed star thus far is Angela Bassett, though Bassett did potentially spoil recently that Sarah Paulson will be returning as well.
American Horror Story season 6 premieres this fall on FX.
