Morgan Learns The Consequences Of His Actions

After Maxie demanded answers about who Claudette was, Nathan lied and said she was a French poodle he had as a kid--a lie that nearly unraveled when Nina (Michelle Stafford) told Maxie their dog growing up had been named Mittens and wasn't a French poodle. Nathan then explained it away as Mittens dying while Nina was in her coma, and Claudette being his dog afterwards, which Maxie believed.

However, after being told by his mother, Dr. Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), that he shouldn't be honest with Maxie, he will still feel guilty about his lie--and he'll confess his problems to Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) in the hope of getting some advice.

Ava Confronts Paul About Continued Blackmail

"I've been lying to Maxie," he says in a preview clip for the Friday, March 4, 2016 episode.

Dante may serve as the perfect confidant about Nathan's secret, and could be just the person to push Nathan in the right direction, which may be, even if it causes pain, to come clean with Maxie. Dante has learned the hard way not to lie to the woman he loved, after failing to tell Lulu (Emme Rylan) about his affair with her cousin, Valerie (Brytni Sarpi)--a move that, couple with other major trust issues, has led to the couple likely headed to divorce court.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
