Geraldo Rivera is apparently putting on his dancing shoes to compete on the new season of ABC's Dancing With the Stars.

Dance Pro Derek Hough Is NOT Competing On 'Dancing With the Stars' This Season

Rivera has signed up for season 22 of Dancing With the Stars, according to a new PageSix report. The Fox News mainstay "actually has rhythm, he's quite a dancer," says the PageSix source.

The former talk show host does have recent reality show experience. He appeared on the most recent season of NBC's The Celebrity Apprentice, where he ultimately placed as the runner-up to Leeza Gibbons.

Rivera, 72, addressed the Dancing With the Stars news on Fox & Friends this week, playing coy and then proceeding to show off his dance moves:

The official cast of Dancing With the Stars will be revealed on Tuesday, March 8 on ABC's Good Morning America. So far, only two celebrities have officially been announced as competing in the new season: Fuller House star Jodie Sweetin and Good Morning America meteorologist Ginger Zee.

There have been many reports over the past few weeks about other celebrities possibly joining season 22, including Super Bowl MVP Von Miller, Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Fields, actress Mischa Barton, America's Next Top Model winner Nyle DiMarco, Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown, UFC fighter Paige VanZant and model Blac Chyna.

It remains to be seen if any of these celebs will, in fact, be part of the new season.

Dancing With the Stars season 22 begins Monday, March 21 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
