Put down your guns and spit out those AI chips - The 100 is going on a midseason hiatus. While it won't be infinite, the break will leave fans hanging just as the Grounder/Arker/AI storylines are poised to explode.

'The 100' Season 3 Spoilers: EP Explains [SPOILER'S] Shocking Death, What ALIE 2 Can Really Do

Lexa's death sent the fandom into chaos last week, and frankly, viewers could use a little extra time to mourn the apocalypse's latest casualty. The 100 will dive headlong back into the Arker's civil war in "Terms and Conditions," but the end of Thursday's hour will mark the start of a brief midseason break (see a preview below).

Series creator Jason Rothenberg addressed the issue on Twitter, promising viewers that they will only have to suffer two weeks of withdrawal before mainlining The 100 once more.

In the meantime, get psyched for episode 8 with an official summary:

"Kane (Henry Ian Cusick) is searching for a peaceful way to handle things but soon realizes he may be forced to resort to drastic measures," The CW teased. "Meanwhile, Pike (guest star Michael Beach, "Sons of Anarchy") suspects that there may be a leak within the walls of Arkadia. Lastly, Raven (Lindsey Morgan) has a plan and reaches out to Jasper (Devon Bostick) for help."

Catch The 100 Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
