Regina (Lana Parrilla) may not be the only "Savior" in the Underworld on ABC's Once Upon a Time.

While Regina had a big episode this week, she won't be the only character serving as a Savior to those trapped in the Underworld. Once Upon a Time creators Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz spoke with Entertainment Weekly recently in a series of "hot seat" questions and spoke about all of our heroes being Saviors.

"I think everyone is trying to be," Kitsis said, when asked if Regina is the Savior of the Underworld. "It's a place where heroes have a chance to be heroic. It's a place where sometimes our pasts come back to haunt us, and you have a chance to find closure. Everyone has an opportunity to be a Savior at some point in their own history."

Horowitz added that fans will get to see Regina's childhood eventually.

While this half of the season brings back many characters from past seasons of Once Upon a Time, there are a few we definitely won't be seeing. Among them are Maleficent (Kristin Bauer van Straten), Lily (Agnes Buckner) and Ariel (JoAnna Garcia Swisher).

The creators also confirmed that there will be death in the second half of the season. As for which characters will die, they were, of course, tight-lipped. But considering the setting of the Underworld, it shouldn't come as too much of a shock that death is always a factor.

Once Upon a Time airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
