He murmured her name while recovering from his gunshot wound, and now, despite Maxie (Kirsten Storm) seeming to drop the whole Claudette thing, Nathan (Ryan Paevey) will decide to come clean about who she really is on General Hospital.

He hasn't told Maxie who she really is, and stuck by his cover story that Claudette was a dog he had as a kid, and though he told Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) Claudette had been an ex, he never went into detail about what made her so significant. However, now, after Dante begins to push, Nathan may feel the need to start coming clean about his past.

"I'm just trying to focus on my future with my girlfriend," Nathan says in a preview clip for the Friday, March 11 episode. "Can't you just respect that?"

However, Dante, who has finally made strides when it comes to repairing his own damaged relationship with Lulu (Emme Rylan), will continue to push for an explanation as to why Nathan wants to desperately keep the truth from Maxie so badly. And when he realizes his best friend isn't going to let up, Nathan will have no choice but to finally tell all—even if it changes how Dante views his friend.

And after he comes clean, Dante may warn him that he needs to be honest with Maxie before she learns the truth on her own—and at that point, it could become too late to try and fix things.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
