They thought that they had successfully raided Negan's compound and eliminated the threat he and the Saviors pose to both The Hilltop and Alexandria, but now, the race will be on to try and save an abducted Carol (Melissa McBride) and pregnant Maggie (Lauren Cohan) on The Walking Dead.

As it turned out, the successful kills at the compound were only the beginning, with many more saviors still alive and around the area—and two have managed to take Maggie and Carol hostage.

And despite Rick (Andrew Lincoln) trying to negotiate for their freedom, it appears that he won't find success—and the situation will only become more dire as a result.

"Do we have a deal?" Rick asks into the walkie in a preview clip for the Sunday, March 13 episode.

However, the woman in charge of the group holding Carol and Maggie seems to renege on any deals—simply nodding her head so her associates place bags over the two women's heads—and they are then brought somewhere else entirely, tied up, and left as hostages, with no potential hope in sight.

"You're wondering if there's a way out of this," the woman warns Carol in the clip. "There isn't. Not unless I say so."

Now, unless Carol can find some way to get her herself out of this mess, similarly to how she's succeeded in the past, she and Maggie could be in extreme danger, and could find themselves becoming victims as Negan swears revenge on their community.

The Walking Dead airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on AMC.
