If you're afraid of heights, tonight's Amazing Race was probably enough to give you second-hand vertigo. For the series' eight remaining teams, their trip up, down, and across the French Alps was harrowing to say the least.

The March 11 episode found the travelers in the snowy climes of Chamonix, France. After locating the proper license plate, each team took a car to Les Grands Montets Gondola Station. Brodie and Kurt lead the charge as the competitors rose 11,000 feet to fetch their next clue via zip line.

Despite the dizzying heights, everyone made it through the high ropes adventure in one piece. Ashley of the Gamers had to do it twice, however, as her first attempt sent the clue plummeting to the rocks below.

Next up was the Detour. Teams had the choice of choosing Dynamite or Campsite. The former required nerves of steel as the chilly climbers traversed the side of the mountain to deliver supplies to workers while the latter required eagle-eyed competitors to recreate a campsite. Only the Gamers attempted to assemble an overnight shelter, and although it took them longer, the evening's race was ultimately won during the Road Block.

One more gondola ride later, and one member for each team was ready to tandem-paraglide to the ground while looking for a Yeti. The main problem? They had to sprint through deep snow to build up speed before the launch, and more than one team faltered as they failed to catch the wind.

Ultimately, Tyler and Korey snagged their second first place win while Erin and Joslyn were forced to bid au revoir to the Race.
