'Survivor: Kaoh Rong' News: Does Jeff Probst Think Jason & Scot Bullied Alecia? [VIDEO]
Survivor host Jeff Probst talks the tricky relationship between Alecia Holden and Kyle Jason and Scot Pollard.
Alecia was unanimously voted out of the Brawn tribe in the latest episode of Survivor: Kaoh Rong after days of conflict with her tribemates—particularly Jason and Scot. Fans have come down on both sides of the fence for Alecia and Jason/Scot, but many are claiming that the men bullied her through her whole Survivor stay.
Probst spoke with Entertainment Weekly recently about their conflict and how the audience is currently perceiving Jason and Scot in particular.
"This is a complicated one for me. I'll do my best to explain my point of view. Alecia is a self-described 'tough chick.' She grew up in the world of boxing with her dad. She's been around a lot of tough talk and as a result she doesn't back down from anybody," Probst explained. "So in one sense, Alecia does make it about her because she stands up for herself at all times. On the other hand, I think Jason says a lot by refusing to call her by her name, opting instead for 'Blondie.' I'm sure Jason would say he was just having fun and he might have been, but the result is the audience now sees Scot and Jason, at least for the time being, as bullies. And this is not from me asking people, I just know what the audience is going to think in this case. After all the life threatening drama they went through only a few hours before, to return to camp and lay into her like that was really fascinating."
In response to much of the Survivor fanbase calling out Jason and Scot for bullying, the pair has sent out many tweets arguing otherwise.

Really hope my daughters don't grow up depending on anyone to get them through life

Of course, Alecia has her own arguments as well:
The bullying was all behind my back. I was fine out there. When it was to my face I confronted the situation.

It's funny im called a cheerleader by someone who's NBA career was mostly spent cheering from the bench

My tribe sucked, but if I don't respect a person the things they say won't ever phase me. It's been real Cambodia pic.twitter.com/8tXb2M4uGf

It remains to be seen if the now three-person Brawn tribe will continue to be decimated or if the upcoming tribe swap will save them.
