'The Voice' Results Tonight 2016 VIDEO: Season 10 Battle Rounds Night 1, Who Was Eliminated? Watch Moushumi, Ryan Quinn, Bryan Bautista
The Voice season 10 is plowing full steam ahead.
The NBC series gave viewers a double header on Monday, combing the final night of Blind Auditions with the first hour of the Battle Rounds. Fans only had a brief two-minute commercial break to take stock of the new teams before coaches started dropping the ax.
First, lets tell you how Coach Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Pharrell Williams, and Christina Aguilera rounded out their squads.
Team Adam Levine
The Maroon 5 frontman entered the evening with 11 hopefuls, and the addition of Kate Basden brought him up to a round dozen.
Team Blake Shelton
The country stare made his first and last selection at the top of the episode, adding Jared Harder to his pack.
Team Pharrell Williams
Moushumi and Jonathan Hutcherson rounded out Williams' team with performances of Wicked Game and You & I
Team Christina Aguilera
After loosing two of her choices to Williams and Levine, Team Xtina was the last to fill its bill with Ayanna Jahneé.
Now, onto the Battle Rounds!
In the Battles, members of each team faceoff to win their coach's favor. If they lose, they are either eliminated or stolen by another coach.
Team Adam Levine was up first. Basden set the World Record for shortest stay on any team ever when Ryan Quinn's rendition of Maybe I'm Amazed knocked her out of the running. Luckily, Coach Blake swooped to the rescue with a save.
The Boys 'Round Here singer than had to make a tough choice of his own. Ultimately, Shelton selected Paxton Ingram over Brittney Lawrence, making the Jacksonville native season 10's first Battle Round casualty.
In the final performance of the evening, Team Christina's Bryan Bautista and Malik Heard took the stage for It's a Man's Man's Man's World. Heard was sent packing, but Williams gave the singer a second chance.
