If these reports are true, this sure doesn't look good for Kate Middleton—or Buckingham Palace for that matter, either. Rumor has it that the palace staff has been forced to take a major pay cut while the Duchess continues to spend money like there's no tomorrow—which of course has included her family's luxury ski trips, multiple shopping sprees and a $5,000 helicopter ride when she could have easily spent $67 to take a train instead.

According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry on Tuesday, Middleton's spending is "out of the control" as her staffers are worried that they will soon be making money below the poverty line if no one dares to stop the Duchess from spending the British tax payer's hard earned money.

And it looks like the Duchess is even getting some flack from British politicians who are outraged over the fact that she and her husband Prince William recently took a ski trip to the South of France, which cost several thousands of dollars.

Lord George Foulkes of the Labour Party issued a statement to The Sun, "I find it outrageous that the younger members of the Royal Family spend huge amounts of money enjoying themselves in the most lavish way when a lot of people are not getting wage rises."

What's more, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are also being criticized for doing very little when it comes to their royal obligations. Together, they've only clocked in 80 hours of work since the beginning of the year. In comparison, Queen Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh have made at least 100 more public appearances and fulfilled more obligations in 2015 than Prince William and Kate Middleton combined.

So far, Buckingham Palace has not responded to any of the criticism.
