She saw him through the window as her nuptials were scheduled to begin, and now, Abigail's (Kate Mansi) worst fears about Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) potentially ruining her happily ever after ending with Chad (Billy Flynn) may become a reality for her on Days of Our Lives.

As she walked down the aisle at DiMera Mansion and turned to face the man she loves, she caught her ex-fiance, who escaped from the mental institution he was being held at after his crimes as the Necktie Killer were discovered, staring at her through a window, which led to her releasing a bloodcurdling scream. Now, with the nuptials at a halt, the search will be on to see if Ben really was hanging around, and if he poses a true danger.

Chad and JJ (Casey Moss) will head outside to where Abigail saw Ben—and he may wind up finding proof that someone was there, likely him. If they find proof—be it footprints in the dirt or anything else that would prove he had been watching—they will be alarmed. However, they may make a uniform decision together not to cause Abigail more panic and decide to tell her that there was nothing for them to find, which would suggest Ben had not been there, meaning she had let her fear get the best of her, and she saw him in her head.

If Abigail believes them, then she will calm down, and the wedding could continue without any further interruption—officially sealing Chad and Abigail's romance with a kiss and a happy ending as husband and wife. Now, the pair will be able to live out the rest of their days together, as in love as they always were and happily raising their son, Thomas, together.

But, if Ben really is lurking around waiting for the perfect moment to strike, things won't be so cut and dry for the newlyweds, and as they prepare for a honeymoon in Chicago with their son, the real threat—as well as Abigail's fears he will turn up unexpectedly—could follow closely behind.

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
