'The Real Housewives Of Atlanta' Season 8: What's Really Going On Between Sheree & Bob Whitfield? [VIDEO]
So we all so that awkward kiss between ex-spouses Sheree & Bob Whitfield on the season finale of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta. But what’s really going on between them?
Well, they both have set the record straight.
Sheree told Bravo on Tuesday, “Bob and I are working on getting to know each other again. We both have grown a lot and are in a different space than when we were married. We are in the process of relearning each other. I can say that we are happy with how things are going and our children are happy.”
The possible couple even worked out some of their drama on the season finale after Sheree said that he claimed to have slept with his good friend Tammy McCall during their marriage. McCall showed up at Phaedra Parks’ Christmas party and the three were able to settle the score. Bob admitted that he lied about hooking up with McCall, but urged Sheree not to punish him for their past issues.
It looks like she has taken note because she added, “At this point I have moved beyond Bob’s transgressions. I can only look forward to my future. If he did sleep with Tammy, nothing I say, think, or do can change that!”
As for Bob, he also said that they are working on healing and moving forward from their past relationship into a possible new one.
“The previous relationship was so damaged,” he confessed. “Two adults, we wouldn’t dare venture to venture into a relationship, but we are exploring each other’s company I will say.”
He added that they both still have their guard up after their messy divorce in 2007, that was followed by an ugly child support case.
“Having been around the person, you can in your mind think about, ‘Hey, it used to be good when it was good, but when it was bad, it was hella bad.’ So when you get to the person, you might be like, ‘I need to have my knife in my back pocket just in case.’”
