Bjorn will take a leaf out of his father's Vikings playbook when it comes to women.

Once upon a time, it looked like the prince had a shot at a nice married life with Porunn (Gaia Weiss). After the shield maiden's injury and the birth of their daughter, however, their relationship fell apart. Now, Bjorn (Alexander Ludwig) has turned his attention to Torvi (Georgia Hirst)...for the moment at least.

"He takes what he wants and doesn't think twice about it," Ludwig told International Business Times. "The thought behind it was, it's kind of putting [Erlendur] in his place, 'I can take anything from you. I could take your life, and I could take your wife.' So, he starts with [Erlendur's] wife and maybe we'll see something else after."

As the season progresses, prepare to see ol' Ironsides hop from bed to bed. Unlike the Bjorn of old, Ludwig's character won't even try to be nice about it. Just like his dear old dad, it seems no woman can hold the warrior's attention for long.

"Bjorn's a big slut this year," the actor teased, according to TV Insider. "You can quote me on that. He starts taking what he wants and any woman he wants. He becomes ruthless. I love that because nobody's perfect and I want to show his flaws."

Perhaps it's a good thing Bjorn is developing a ruthless nature, although we'd prefer if he kept it to the battlefield. He is in line to become the King of Denmark, after all. Ragnar (Travis Fimmel) didn't get to where he is by playing nice. Now that King Harald (Peter Franzén) and Halfdan the Black (Jasper Pääkkönen) have entered the picture, Bjorn might have to call up the lessons he learned from Ragnar's dealings with Kick Horik (Donald Logue). After he spilled an assassin's entrails into the cold Norwegian snow during "Yol," there is little doubt in our mind he would have the guts (no pun intended) to execute the Blood Eagle.

While you wait to see how Bjorn and Torvi's little tryst will play out, catch the series' next episode, "Promised," tonight at 10 p.m. ET on the History Channel. Check out a preview below.
