At least two members of Colony's Bowman family will have a reunion before long.

The invasion forced Will and Katie's hands in separate directions, and their opposite agendas left their little family scattered to the four winds as the season finale came to a close. Gracie is up in the Green Zone with the brainwashing tutor, Bram is in trouble in tunnels, Will is in Santa Monica looking for Charlie, and Katie is home alone, wondering what happened to her once happy clan.

As the Los Angeles bloc hangs its "Under New Management" banners for season 2, fans can rest assured that Will and Katie will see each other sooner rather than later. The appointment of a new Proxy will change the colony for the worse, but that won't stop our protagonists from braving hell and high water to bring their family together once more.

"We want to explore Will and Katie and the Charlie situation, and explore them in a satisfying way. Charlie's absence is what catalyzed the action this year, compounded with Will and Katie's relationship," executive producer Ryan Condal told Entertainment Weekly. "Will and Katie will be back on screen together again, and I'll tease maybe sooner than you might think, but maybe not the way you might think."

In our opinion, the sooner Will gets Charlie out of Santa Monica, the better. When Snyder said he was the best there is, he clearly wasn't kidding. Homelessness and hunger seem to be the order of the day down by the beach, and while the series will certainly take the requisite amount of time to explore what lies through the gateway, we're happy to hear that Katie won't be in the dark for long.

As for the two other Bowman children, well, their futures look rather bleak. Bram will have to "reap the consequences of his actions," according to Condal, and the reappearance of creepy tutor lady can only mean bad things for Hudson and Gracie's impressionable young minds.
