She seemed to believe she was in the clear after the men behind the gun-smuggling ring were taken down and Paul (Richard Burgi) arranged for her to not face charges by claiming she had cooperated with the Justice Department, but Ava (Maura West) will learn she's still in danger on General Hospital.

After arriving at the hospital to visit a recently woken up Kiki (Hayley Erin), she opened a package that was a major threat to her--a black rose which hinted her enemies were still after her. And now, even though she was sure she wasn't risking anything, she will realize just how much trouble she could be in, especially after Julian (William DeVry) warns her what the rose would mean.

"You're a dead woman walking," he says in a preview clip for the Friday, March 18 episode.

The threat will be even more ominous for Ava because of the state Kiki is in, as well as the fact that she could run the risk of losing Avery to Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Carly (Laura Wright). She was able to score full custodial rights to her daughter a few months back by goading Sonny into threatening to kill her and playing the recording of the threat in court. Since then, Sonny has been trying to find a way to get back custody, since he knows Ava is in too deep with crime to provide a genuinely safe home for their daughter.

And if the threat that is currently against Ava gets back to Sonny, it will give him the ammunition he needs to be able to score custody again when the case heads back to court--and Ava will do whatever it takes to keep that from happening.

Meanwhile. Sonny will be assuring Carly that eventually, Ava will see that the right place for Avery to be is with them, and as a result, things will eventually work out in their favor.

"Ava is going to realize that Avery is better off here with us," Sonny says in the clip.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
