One of the new characters on Switched at Birth just gave a few teases on what fans are about to see when he enters the series.

On Sunday, Christy Reports shared a brief interview with actor Michael Galante who will play Luca beginning in the second episode of the fifth season. And while he couldn't say too much about what his character will bring, he mentioned something pretty important.

"I play a love interest to one of the characters," Galante said. "I can't say exactly who, but one of them."

One of the things the actor enjoys about this series as that it can push its limits without exceeding too much detail.

"It's a wholesome show," he said. "It doesn't get too risque, but just enough. It's ABC Family Freeform. You can't go crazy. But it's been a wonderful experience."

Galante added that when he began filming, everyone treated him "like family."

"The moment I walked in to get my makeup and hair done, everyone's like, 'Welcome to our family, Michael,'" the actor said. "It was unbelievable. It just makes better chemistry for everybody. The scenes are better, the work's better."

He was then asked if fans can expect any love scenes coming up to which he jokingly responded, "Pretty much every scene." And as for the question if he'll be removing his shirt on screen, he said, "Maybe."
