Reese Witherspoon dropped the price of her home in Ojai, California for the second time in less than 6 months, now selling it for $7.25 million, Mail Online reported.

The house initially went on the market in October for $10 million. A few weeks later the actress slashed the price to $8.9 million.

It's a luxurious ranch-style home, located just north of Los Angeles. Witherspoon opened the doors to the property when it was featured for Elle Décor magazine last summer.

She told the magazine of her country home: 'When you buy a beautiful piece of art, you don't really own it. You're just the caretaker,' according to the report

Witherspoon got married to her husband Jim Toth in March of last year in that house.

The couple uses the area, which includes a swimming pool, barn, horse paddock, and guest cottages for weekends and holidays when away with Witherspoon's children- daughter Ava, 12, son Deacon, 8, and Tennessee, their new baby.

It includes four bedrooms and three bathrooms with beamed ceilings, a large and bright 'country kitchen' with a breakfast bar, and a library.

Witherspoon loves the property because it brings back childhood memories.

"It reminds me of growing up in Tennessee, where we spent all day outside," she said, based on the report. "I wanted my children to have that experience, to get muddy and hang out with the animals."

The actress also said it provides a great way to escape when she is not working.

"Time slows down. Within an hour I'm lying on that couch taking a big fat nap. It's like having a little bit of Tennessee in California," she said.
