As the season five premiere of VH1’s Love & Hip Hop Atlanta gets closer, the drama of what’s been going on with the stars in between seasons is now at the forefront.

The hit reality series doesn’t return to VH1 until next month, but there is already lots of buzz about the drama that can be expected to be seen on the show.

Karlie Redd has seen her share of ups and downs when it comes to her love life on the show. And while it looks like she has finally gotten things right with soulful singer Lyfe Jennings, she has a shocking reaction when he proposes in a teaser.


Tammy Rivera is back on the show after taking a break last season. And while it doesn’t look like her husband, rapper Waka Flocka, is along for the ride this time, they are certainly making headlines after one of his possible other women has aired their dirty laundry on social media.

The woman, Simone Patton, who also has a child with rapper Chief Keef, took to Instagram to call out Rivera after she allegedly slammed her in a recent interview.

“Let me clear something up…” she said in the beginning of her rant. “You do NOT want me to spill this tea on how you and Waka got into it over me on Christmas Day….. You were better off keeping my name out of your mouth.”

She added that while she has been on Rivera’s “side” regarding allegations about her messing around with Waka, it looks like she’s ready to stop denying any hookups.
