'Empire' Season 2: How Taraji P. Henson Is Involved In NFL Boyfriend's Child Support Case [VIDEO]
Empire actress Taraji P. Henson’s real-life drama has made headlines as she and her rumored NFL boyfriend have hit a turning point in their relationship after he faced drama with the mother of his child.
The guy, Kelvin Hayden, Jr. who plays for the Atlanta Falcons, was caught up in a huge fight with the mother of his child, Carla Boyd, over child support. Now, they have been able to come to the agreement that he will pay $3,500 monthly for the child’s care. But if he for some reason doesn’t pay child support, Boyd can’t use that against him and stop him from spending time with the child.
Hayden is also required to to cover the child’s health insurance and set up a trust fund for his education.
But Henson is also involved in their agreement as well, as they agreed in the court documents obtained by Bossip Thursday, revealing that the child is not allowed to call anyone else “mommy” or “daddy” other than his biological parents.
Henson will have to agree to these terms if she and Hayden go so far as tying the knot.
Boyd also has primary custody of the child, but Hayden will have him on the weekends and every other Wednesday. The two have been going back-and-forth ever since Boyd first filed the child support complaint back in 2008.
He and Henson are said to have kicked off their relationship late last year.
