Wes Bentley is pitching a potentially interesting concept for season 6 of FX's American Horror Story.

Bentley, who played John Lowe in American Horror Story: Hotel, is expected to return for season 6 and already has a concept he's heard about that he wants to push to showrunner Ryan Murphy.

"I've heard good ideas; I'll go off of those," Bentley told Zap2it recently. "One was like a ship, like a 'Ghost Ship' kinda thing. It would be really hard to do, but I think it would be interesting. I even heard someone say summer camp and at first I was like hmmm (no), but then I thought about it and thought that's not a bad idea."

Cheyenne Jackson, his co-star who played Will Drake in Hotel, simply wants to do a period piece for season 6.

"I'd love to see a period piece again," Jackson admitted. "I know this year ... I heard they're going to be more in the present; I just love period pieces, I love the costumes and the eye candy of it."

As Jackson alluded to, season 6 will in fact be set in the present, as FX president John Landgraf revealed in January. This breaks the pattern set thus far for American Horror Story where the odd-numbered seasons are set in the present while the even-numbered seasons are set in the past.

Unfortunately for fans, very little has been revealed about season 6. Murphy appeared at PaleyFest this past weekend and did not confirm a concept, revealing, "The interesting thing about this season is we've been working on two ideas at once, which we've never done. So I don't want to say what it maybe is.... Both things that we're writing right now-we haven't declared a winner-will have a different form, so we're excited about that. We'll talk about it soon, but we haven't landed on it yet."

He did mention that both concepts he has in mind involve children, so make of that what you will.

American Horror Story season 6 premieres this fall on FX.
