We are now at the merge portion of Survivor: Kaoh Rong, which means it's time to assess which players have the best chance of winning that $1 million grand prize.

Seven people have been eliminated from Survivor: Kaoh Rong so far and 11 are left. This Wednesday's episode will feature the merging of the Chan Loh and Gondol tribes into one, and now it's going to become an individual game.

There is also a relatively even tribe division among those left in the game, with three original Brawn tribe members (Cydney Gillon, Kyle Jason and Scot Pollard), four original Brains (Aubry Bracco, Debbie Wanner, Joe del Campo and Neal Gottlieb) and four original Beauties (Julia Sokolowski, Michele Fitzgerald, Nick Maiorano and Tai Trang).

Let's take a look at each player left in the game and assess their possible winning chances.

Aubry:

Aubry made connections with Debbie and Neal and helped orchestrate the blindside of Liz Markham in Episode 3. She was then switched to Gondol where she formed a majority with Joe and Peter Baggenstos, voting out original Beauty tribe member Anna Khait. Then in the latest episode she heard that Peter was conspiring against her and Joe and made the bold move of turning against him and voting him out. Aubry has shown solid game acumen but her success may depend on whether she gets into a majority alliance.

Cydney:

Cydney has played a relatively quiet game but she's managed to stay off the chopping block completely through six episodes. She formed a majority with Jason and Scot early on and proceeded to make social connections with the rest of her tribe, even though she would ultimately vote them out. She made a slight connection with Debbie after switching to Chan Loh and has generally stayed in a comfortable spot since the start. If she continues her strong social game she could easily get all the way to the end and have a convincing case.

Debbie:

Debbie has been one of the biggest characters of the season thus far, and has served as a narrator in just about every episode. Her bold personality made her seem cartoonish in the beginning but she has since show major strategic chops. Debbie has been in a majority position throughout the game and only had to go to Tribal Council once. She also showed a willingness to reach across the aisle and make alliances with others, so she's not completely stuck to the Brains camp. However, if she makes herself the leader of her alliance, she could be in trouble.

Jason:

Jason essentially became the main character of the Brawn tribe in the first four episodes. He showed a lot of animosity toward Alecia Holden (who he not-so-affectionately called "Blondie") but basically ruled the roost alongside Cydney and Scot. He has not had to vote anyone out outside of his Brawn tribe, but based on the last two episodes he looks to be targeting the Brains tribe next. Jason has a compelling personal backstory (and a Hidden Immunity Idol) but if he becomes too ruthless he may end up losing jury votes if he makes it to the end.

Joe:

Joe has been one of the quieter castaways this season, but the few glimpses we get of him show an undying loyalty to his group. Even with the knowledge that Peter was plotting against him behind his back, Joe refused to vote for him, purely out of honor to the Brains tribe. It seems unlikely that anyone will be targeting Joe first after the merge so he should be in a good spot unless he becomes a minority in the game.

Julia:

Julia is another player who hasn't been shown much in the first six episodes. She was loyal to her fellow Beauty women in the beginning but they never had to go to Tribal Council. Then at the tribe swap she was the unlucky person who drew the red buff, sending her to the Brawn camp alone. When she returned she was on the Gondol tribe and willing to do whatever it took to stay in. Luckily she managed to avoid the fate of Anna, her former Beauty tribemate and escaped Tribal Council safe. Will she take control of the game in the post-merge in a way that would warrant jury votes in the end, though?

Michele:

Michele has also been one of the most quiet contestants, at least from her edit. Like Julia, she was in a great spot on her original Beauty tribe and nobody seemed to have any problems with her. Episode 6 was her biggest episode yet (by a longshot) when she more or less took responsibility for losing the Reward Challenge. She was then shown scheming with Debbie, only to have her former Beauty tribemate Nick talk down to her about how she shouldn't do that. Regardless, she has not yet gone to Tribal Council so we will see how she conducts herself moving forward.

Neal:

Neal is in a comfortable spot right now with his Brains alliance and a Hidden Immunity Idol in tow. Like Debbie he has only gone to Tribal Council once and was part of the big plan to blindside Liz. We have not seen Neal make any further connections with other players outside his Brains alliance, though, which is a sign of loyalty but could ultimately cost him. But he is indeed the only Brain castaway with an Idol, which should definitely help him get far.

Nick:

Nick has yet to go to Tribal Council in his first six episodes, which may have been his saving grace. He was clearly shown to be the odd person out in his original Beauty tribe and would have probably gone home first if they went to Tribal Council. They did not, and Nick was switched to Chan Loh. While there he made a connection with Jason but as mentioned above, may have isolated himself further from Michele. If he gets in a majority he could go far but he may not be long for the game.

Scot:

Scot has gone to all but one Tribal Council so far and managed to stay safe through all of them. He was part of a majority with Cydney and Jason in the beginning and helped Jason nab the Brawn tribe's Hidden Immunity Idol. Then he was switched to Gondol where he was the only Brawn member but still stay off the chopping block. He made a bond with Tai, who he found out also has an Idol. Now that Scot will reunite with Jason and Cydney he may be in a great spot to go far, unless that alliance becomes the minority.

Tai:

Tai is far and away the biggest breakout character of the season, with his unbridled positivity and love of all living things. He was a bit scheme-y in the beginning while looking for the Hidden Immunity Idol but he did find it. Through his positivity and work ethic he managed to evade being targeted at the first Gondol Tribal Council and worked his way in with Scot. Tai is clearly a likable force out there so unless he goes on an Immunity run, the other players may think he's too big of a threat to take to the end.
