Lil Wayne Coma Update: Healthy After Seizure Scare, Posts Video Reassuring Fans He is 'More Than Good' [WATCH]
Lil Wayne Coma Update:
Lil Wayne is in good health after he was hospitalized last week for a seizure scare.
The rapper made sure he updated and reassured his fans that he was ok in a video sent to TMZ today, saying he is "more than good."
In the clip, the rapper thanks his fans for their "prayers and concerns and all that" and also tells them to "kiss my fist, I'm more than good!"
The video also features his good friend, Atlanta rapper T.I.
The New Orleans rapper did not address the report that his latest bout with seizures may have been a result of a poisoning instead of the rumored overdose on "sizzurp" (a homemade concoction of cough syrup, melted hard candies and Codeine.)
Wayne recorded his appearance in Nicki Minaj's music video for High School days before he was hospitalized for seizures on March 12. He was released but re-admitted again on March 14 for suffering from back-to-back bouts of seizures. He was released for the final time on Monday and thanked everyone for their support on Twitter the day after he left the hospital.
"I'm feeling a lot better and again thk u all for ur love and prayers. It was truly felt...pause," Wayne wrote under his Twitter handle @LilTunechi.
While conflicting reports said he was in a coma, was being read his last rites and in ICU -all possible results from an alleged overdose - a new report suggested that Lil Wayne may have been poisoned.
A source close to Lil' Wayne's Young Money group told Media Takeout the rapper wasn't hospitalized for an overdose, he fell ill because "there was something in his [syrup]."
The Lollipop rapper provides guest lyrics on Minaj's song High School and is featured in its music video. The single is the first from her upcoming Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded- The Re-up release. Lil Wayn'e next album, I Am Not A Human Being II, will be released March 29.
