'Real Housewives Of New Jersey' Cast: Teresa Giudice Talks 'DIfficult Week' After Joe's Sentence Begins [VIDEO]
It has been a week since Joe Giudice checked into prison and now his wife, Bravo’s The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice is speaking out on how she and their four daughters are coping while he serves his time at Fort Dixon facility in New Jersey.
“I just want to say thank you so much to all of my fans out there,” Teresa said in a video via Bravo’s Daily Dish. “All your love and support means the world to me and my family. It has been a difficult week for us, but we’re making through, thank God.”
Joe was sentenced to 41 months in federal prison after he and Teresa pleaded guilty to several serious fraud charges back in 2014. Teresa was handed 15 months but served less than a year before being released on Dec. 23. She was also on house arrest until early February. But the family has a long road before they get back to some sort of normalcy as Joe is serving his time and is said to be at risk of being deported back to Italy after he is finished.
Despite the circumstances, Teresa continued and said, “Joe’s doing as well as expected. Of course we spoke to him. And I just want to thank you again from my heart for being there, and for all your beautiful tweets. Love, love, love you from my family to yours.”
Joe began his sentence on March 23. It’s possible he will be released early after 18 months if he agrees to sign up for sentence-reduction programs.
