'Party Down South' Season 5 Spoilers: Mattie On A Mission To Score Some 'Vitamin D?' [VIDEO]
She seemed intent on rekindling her previous hook-up with Lyle, but it seems Mattie is on a new mission on the newest episode of Party Down South—and it's to get herself some "Vitamin D" wherever she can.
Of the ladies in the house, she and Lauren are the only ones who are single, and Mattie is tired of her situation—which has seen her without a man since the gang's first vacation. So with the hope that she will finally meet a guy who is going to treat her right, she's going to make it a mission to meet a guy during a night out at the bar. Unfortunately for her, she doesn't seem to be having much success.
"So there's this guy in white pants and normally, I don't go after boys who wear white pants after Labor Day, but you would work," Mattie says in a preview clip for the March 31 episode.
But, after she hints at a hook-up, the guy bolts and leaves her alone.
"I warned y'all boys, I'm coming for you! Well, here I am," she says. "I mean, I'm finally getting some action, and then he like, runs away. I'm like, what's wrong with me? What can't I find a good guy?"
After the guy wanders off, Mattie then goes off to Tiffany and Bubba to voice her frustration over the situation, which Tiffany sympathizes with her over.
"Mattie's getting upset right now because guys aren't hitting on her," Tiff says. "And I really feel bad for Mattie. I know it sucks, I know it hurts her feelings, drops her security level a bit. But Mattie doesn't give up. She gonna get some D."
Sure enough, Mattie quickly sets her sights on a new guy, inviting him over for a pool party, and also making sure he knows what she's really after—and she doesn't hesitate to show him she means business when she starts making out with him—a move which shocks Lauren.
"Mattie is like a hound dog on a hunt, she is bringing something back one way or another," she says. "This girl has gone boy crazy tonight, she is just on a mission to get some."
Party Down South airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. on CMT.
