The Geordie duo of Ant and Dec continue to see success on a massive scale, as they now find themselves atop the singles chart following their recent performance of their 1994 song Let's Get Ready To Rumble on Saturday Night Takeway.

iTunes made the confirmation that the tandem is currently sitting at No. 1 on the U.K. singles chart. To top it off, the song is performing better now than when it had been initially released 19 years prior.

Fans downloaded the song at a rapid rate after watching the two sing it on their prime-time TV show that featured bands from The Big Reunion.

Presently, Ant and Dec are looking to parlay their success across the Atlantic and into the U.S., according to Mirror.

The popular duo said that they'd like the opportunity to once again perform in America, five years after its last bid in the country didn't fare too well, as their 2008 show Wanna Bet? had its plug pulled by the ABC network.

"We want to take Takeaway to the States as we think it's a great show. We think it would be brilliant for the American audience. It could be great. It's the right time to give it a crack. USA Takeaway should work so it's something we think it would be really good to do and make happen," Ant explained.

With a prime slot of 7p.m., roughly 7.5 million fans in the U.K watch Takeaway. It remains to be seen if its reaction would be similarly welcomed in the U.S.
