'Arrow' Season 4 Spoilers: Echo Kellum Confirmed As Series Regular In Role Of Curtis [VIDEO]
Echo Kellum who plays Curtis Holt on Arrow, is not only going to be back for Season 5, he is also going to be a series regular.
The character who was imagined to be something of a replacement for Felicity's (Emily Bett Rickards), who was disabled for a part of this season and had her own issues with team Arrow to deal with. He ended up being more of assistant to Felicity and helped her run Palmer Tech smoothly.
Curtis was rumored to play as alter ego, Mr. Terrific, in the series. Perhaps, he will adopt that alter ego moving forward in Season 5.
TVLine reported this bit of good news about Kellum coming on board for good.
Kellum joined the series as Curtis in the second episode of Season 4.
In fact it seems like Curtis's position in the organization and his character's invaluability will be emphasized in the next epiosde. The synopsis for the episode, entitled 'Eleven-Fifty-Nine,' reveals that Felicity will have a "heart-to-heart" talk with Curtis.
Here's the official synopsis:
"Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Diggle (David Ramsey) learn that Merlyn (John Barrowman) is going to try to break Darhk (guest star Neal McDonough) out of prison. Meanwhile, Laurel (Katie Cassidy) gets a surprising offer and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) has a heart-to-heart talk with Curtis (guest star Echo Kellum)."
In other recent news, Arrow's Executive Producer Marc Guggenheim has unveiled the title of the final episode of Season 4 of The CW series.
Guggenheim revealed the title, 'Lost in the Flood,' via Twitter, also revealing that Glen Winter is going to be directing the finale. The showrunner also posted a snapshot of the first page of the script for the episode.
The next episode, 'Eleven-Fity-Nine,' is set to air on April 6.
