'Walking Dead' Season 3 Spoilers: Finale Details & Death Rumors Addressed, VIDEO
AMC's The Walking Dead has continued to keep its viewers at the edge of its seat in terms of its plot. However, that respective anticipation will sadly be coming to an end, at least until the next season to follow this week's finale episode.
Soon to be departing showrunner Glenn Mazzara had initially stated that there will be an unexpected ending to its third season that will leave its audience "emotionally satisfying."
Laurie Holden (Andrea) also gave a bit of her input during a recent interview, saying that the only character that's legitimately safe right now is Carl, who is played by Chandler Riggs.
In terms of Andrea's status, The Walking Dead producer David Alpert recently stated that what happens to Andrea won't be what any of her fans will expect to. Going into the finale, she is handcuffed to a barber chair inside a makeshift Woodbury torture chamber.
For the record, Andrea has now attempted to off the Governor (David Morrissey) twice to no avail. Hence, her outcome will undoubtedly be one of the focal points for the show's last episode of season three.
Earlier spoilers had given the indication that two principal characters would die prior to the current season's end. With Merle Dixon (Michael Rooker) now gone, many are surely wondering who will be next.
While there are no clear-cut guarantees, early buzz had spoken of the Governor's one time right-hand man Milton (Dallas Roberts) being the next one to bite the dust. Since Woodbury's corrupt leader no longer trusts him, it wouldn't be farfetched for it to happen.
The Walking Dead will return with its last episode of season three, titled Welcome To The Tombs on Sunday, March 31 at 9 p.m. EDT on the AMC network. A sneak peek at the finale can be viewed below.
