A cast member on ABC's Once Upon a Time is campaigning for their own spinoff series.

Kristin Bauer van Straten, who plays the wicked Maleficent on Once Upon a Time, is hoping for a spinoff dedicated to her and her fellow villainesses. A fan tweeted the idea of a "Queens of Darkness" spinoff, which would consist of Maleficent, Cruella de Vil (Victoria Smurfit), Ursula (Merrin Dungey) and Regina/Evil Queen (Lana Parrilla).

Bauer van Straten responded to this tweet by giving fans a call to action:

The tweet received numerous positive reactions from Bauer van Straten's Twitter followers, suggesting that such an idea isn't bad.

The "Queens of Darkness" story arc was introduced in the second half of the fourth season, with Maleficent, Cruella and Ursula terrorizing the town in style.

ABC did produce a Once Upon a Time spinoff called Once Upon a Time in Wonderland in the fall of 2013, though it received relatively low ratings and mixed reviews from critics. The series ended in April of 2014. It remains to be seen if ABC would try out another spinoff for the fantasy series.

Once Upon a Time airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
