'Real Housewives Of Atlanta' Season 8: NeNe Leakes Checks Porsha Williams Again [VIDEO]
NeNe Leakes of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta has responded to her co-star Porsha Williams’ claims that she put a “curse” on her career.
She hopped on Instagram and shared a quote that reads, “You gotta be around people who aren’t afraid to tell you… You’re [messing] up…”
Leakes then added the caption, “Real friends tell you real [stuff]
The possible beef between Leakes and Williams was first revealed during the third part of the show’s reunion special that aired Sunday. Leakes checked Williams for changing after her divorce to Kordell Stewart and said she didn’t like who Williams is becoming. She said that considering Williams has gotten into three physical altercations since the split, people might see that and refuse to work with her. Williams took to her co-hosting gig on Dish Nation to address Leakes’ comments and called her out for putting a curse on her career. (See that video below)
Fans aren’t necessarily here for Leakes coming for Williams on the show. They commented on Leakes’ post to share their thoughts.
“If you were a ‘real’ friend, why address her in front of people with whom you KNOW have a problem with her?!?”
“Yes they do! But in private. Can’t chastise your friend in public, that’s [messed] up.”
One suggested that Williams and Leakes aren’t “real friends” to begin with.
Still, some fans are still Team Leakes.
“NeNe is who NeNE is for a reason! She doesn’t need to be friends with sensitive people,” wrote one fan as another added, “This is the truth… I have to tell”
