Pretty Little Liars Season 4 Spoilers: Character Speculation On 'Ravenswood' Spin-Off, Details & VIDEO
With ABC's Pretty Little Liars now on a TV hiatus until season four, the show has its site set on another horizon, a spin-off series.
The ABC network made the announcement on Tuesday that they'll be launching a brand new program, titled Ravenswood, which is slated to air this upcoming October. The premiere is scheduled to happen right after the Liars Halloween special.
While details on the new series are minimal at the moment, executive producer Marlene King did take to Twitter to address the project.
"We can't tell you who's in it yet. Like Rosewood, Ravenswood has dark secrets #Ravenswood"
In terms of its characters, Carter Matt suggests that for Ravenswood, ABC may be plucking some of the Pretty Little Liars supporting cast and putting them in a different world similar to the approach that CW's Vampire Diaries will be taking with The Originals.
The site also suspects that the Pretty Little Liars Halloween special could be utilized as some type of backdoor pilot with the purpose of giving fans the knowledge they need to familiarize themselves with the spin-off.
