Still a few weeks away from its very next episode of season eight, How I Met Your Mother is currently on a hiatus until April 15.
When the Romeward Bound title was given to one of this season's upcoming episodes, many sites made the assumption that the CBS brass was referring to a future honeymoon for Barney and Robin, or a foreign trek for Lily (Alison Hannigan).
Nonetheless, Carter Matt speculated that HIMYM loyalists will have to come to grips with the fact that one of its most adored characters may be breaking away from the others for a significant amount of time.
The CBS network released the following synopsis on the respective installment, and it seems as though Lily will be bidding farewell (at least for now) to New York City in order to pursue her real passion in the art industry.
"When The Captain asks Lily to move to Rome for a year to be his art consultant, she fears that Marshall will resent her. Meanwhile, Ted and Barney become obsessed with a girl who is hiding her amazing body under a puffy coat."
How I Met Your Mother is set to return to CBS on Monday, April 15 at 8 p.m. EDT.
