Scorpion's Toby Curtis is sizing up his girlfriend's ring finger, and that can only mean one thing - it's proposal time!

Happy (Jayden Wong) and Toby (Eddie Kaye Thomas) have come a long way since the 2014 pilot, and Quintis fans were ecstatic to see the pair finally move past their relationship fears in season 2. As the finale approaches, Toby will put it all on the line when he pops the question.

"There is a question asked by one of our cast to another one of our cast that is something we're very excited about. Maybe Toby is part of that," executive producer Nicholas Wootton told EnStars at WonderCon 2016. "The question may be asked in a way that you will never have seen before, we hope, in a very genius-y kind of way."

Unfortunately, the turbulent events of April 25's "Toby or Not Toby" will put the behaviorist's live on the line before he can get down on one knee.

"Team Scorpion must outthink their unstable ex-Scorpion member, Mark Collins (guest star Joshua Leonard), after he kidnaps Toby and threatens to kill him unless his cunning demands are met," CBS teased.

In the end, however, putting their intellectual instincts aside to open the door to love's illogical sway will be Happy and Toby's biggest obstacle.

"Toby and Happy just have this natural connection. They each have something the other person wants, and just a spark. But they are so intellectual and lead with logic so much that it made romance so much more difficult," Thomas told EnStars at WonderCon. "Love doesn't make sense. If you were just going to use logic and pluses and minuses, no one would ever get involved in a relationship...so their battling logic and their intellectual brains and just allowing love to happen."
