'NCIS: LA' Season 7: Will Daniela Ruah's Pregnancy Affect Kensi? Actress Announces Baby No. 2 [VIDEO]
Congratulations are in order for Daniela Ruah. The NCIS: Los Angeles actress is expecting once more!
NCIS: LA will return to CBS this fall, but, while fans are stoked for season 8, Ruah (Kensi) has an entirely different reason to look forward to the autumn. Together with her husband David Olsen and their son River, Ruah will welcome another child into the world before Christmas.
Check out the star's clever social media announcement:
What a cute family! We can’t wait to meet the Olsen’s new bundle of joy.
The actress isn’t the only NCIS: LA cast member currently prepping a nursery, however. Eric Christian Olsen (Deeks) is also expecting his second child with wife Sarah Wright. Not only are Eric and Ruah co-stars, but they are also in-laws! Looks like the Olsen family holidays are about to get just a little bigger.
While we await the birth of the newest Ruah-Olsen, NCIS: LA writers are busy figuring out how to handle the actress’ pregnancy and maternity leave. Back in season 5, the series decided to keep Ruah’s baby bump out of the storyline. Filmed several months in advance, Kensi’s Afghanistan arc covered for her brief absence.
Now that Deeks and Kensi are an item, however, there is always a chance Densi could become parents in season 8.
After all, marriage and babies have been a hot button topic for everyone’s favorite NCIS: LA 'ship. While the pair decided that their jobs are currently incompatible with parenthood, who knows what the future holds?
