'Doctor Who' Season 7 Spoilers: More Details Disclosed On The Doctor & Clara, VIDEO
BBC's Doctor Who is set to make its season seven return tomorrow night with The Bells of Saint John. With the show set to wrap up its current season in the upcoming weeks, the audience will more than certainly be seeing another side to the Doctor's (Matt Smith) new companion Clara, who is played by Jenna-Louise Coleman.
In tomorrow's installment, the two characters will pop up in a much more modern London than what the audience is used to seeing Clara in.
In a recent interview conducted by TV Guide, Coleman explained her character's background and dynamic with The Doctor.
"They're different and from different time periods, but there's a similar essence and spirit throughout them ... Our Clara has grown up and is born and raised in contemporary London, so her lifestyle is very different from Oswin who's been locked up on her own for a year and has kind of gone mad and is not as feisty as the Christmas Clara. This Clara doesn't wear her heart on her sleeve, She has quite a lot of secrets."
Carter Matt stated that the audience should expect a variety of ventures from the two that lie ahead.
Given her unorthodox abilities, the Doctor will have to find Clara. Hence, the respective scenario was the premise for the prequel episode, according to Screencrush.
The prequel showed the Doctor somewhat lost on his search as he speaks to a young girl, but Clara is closer to him than he originally thought.
Moving forward, the upcoming installment will feature the Doctor facing some obstacles prior to going off on his next adventure.
Doctor Who is set to make its return to the BBC One in the U.K. on Saturday, March 30 at 6:15 p.m. GMT. The Bells of Saint John trailer can be viewed below.
