VH1’s Love & Hip Hop Atlanta newcomer, Tommie, might be a fan favorite, but that didn’t stop her criminal past from becoming a topic of conversation as her roughly 32 mugshots made their way online and went viral earlier this month. Now, the new reality star has dished on it.

In a post on the network's website published on Monday, she claimed that some of the mug shots are not even legit before she broke down why she has such an extensive criminal lineup.
“Some of them are [real], some of them ain’t. I was dying laughing like, you just see question marks on that one mugshot. That b**** looked like she been drugged. Some of them is not even me. Half the time I’ve been on probation without going to prison.”
She said it was not unusual to break the terms of her probation, so every time she got booked, she “got a whole new mugshot.”
“People act like I’m just a real criminal out here. I’m not denying any of the [stuff] that I did but that’s not the life I live right now.”
She also confirmed that she gave birth to her oldest daughter, who is now 12, behind bars. Her second daughter, is 9.
Tommie, whose real name is Latisha Jefferson, also spoke out about the mugshots on Instagram.
She called out The Breakfast Club radio show for bringing her up and asking their listeners if they could ever date a felon. She said she refused to go on the show and added, “Everything I've ever done in my past was for my family.”
Love and Hip Hop Atlanta airs Mondays at 8/7c on VH1.
