'How I Met Your Mother Season 8 Spoilers: Casey Wilson Set To Play Unwelcoming Character In Finale, Details
It had been previously reported that CBS' How I Met Your Mother will be getting Casey Wilson of Happy Endings to guest star in its season 8 finale, titled Something New.
While there still isn't much known in terms of Wilson's character's description, it's said that she and her love interest will be getting into a contest of some sorts at a restaurant that Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) and Robin (Cobie Smulders) will be present at.
Wilson recently conducted an interview with ET Online. Although she did manage to keep the character chatter relatively discreet, she did dish minimally about her upcoming role.
"She's a real b***h. I'll leave it there. She's not someone anyone would want to hang out with," Wilson said.
Although she'll be playing an unwelcoming character, she did dish on her real-life friendship with Abby Elliott (Jeanette), who had played the crazy girlfriend of Ted earlier in the season.
"She texted me, 'You're going to love How I Met Your Mommy,' and I was dying that she's been calling it 'How I Met Your Mommy.' I filmed my scenes last week and they're just the nicest group over there."
During the conversation, Wilson also gave kudos to the How I Met Your Mother principle cast.
"They're class acts, and I have a real girl crush on Cobie Smulders. Like, I was getting nervous talking to her because I really look up to her ... and then I realized she's younger than me [laughs]."
How I Met Your Mother is set to launch its next episode on Monday, April 15 at 8 p.m. EDT on the CBS network.
