One Million Moms has come out in full force against the recent LGBT development on ABC's Once Upon a Time.

Well known for their advocacy against violence and sex in entertainment (particularly gay characters, actors and storylines), One Million Moms has taken up Once Upon a Time as their latest target.

The latest Once Upon a Time episode featured Ruby (Meghan Ory) and Dorothy (Teri Reeves) sharing True Love's Kiss, which has enraged the group.

"ABC's Once Upon a Time introduced a lesbian couple during this week's episode which 1MM and parents find completely unnecessary," a press release from the group reads. "On the other hand, the producers said the inclusion of homosexuality in a show popular with kids was 'important.' Many families watch the program based on beloved children's fairytales, but unfortunately, ABC has distorted and twisted the storylines in these fables."

The group then speaks to the broader inclusion of homosexuality in the media.

"Homosexuality continues to be over-represented in the media because producers want people, and especially kids, to think it's normal and everyday life. In reality, that is their fairytale."

The group then gives out contact information for one of the show's sponsors, TJ Maxx, with the intent to pressure the company to pull out of advertising during the show.

The response to Ruby and Dorothy's kiss was met with mixed response overall, though much of it was not due to the inclusion of a same-sex kiss. Some fans took issue with the kiss being shared by two relatively minor characters in the Once Upon a Time universe who fans had not really been invested in prior to this episode.

Once Upon a Time producers have not responded to this group.

Once Upon a Time airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
