Antonio Brown and Sharna Burgess may have had a slightly contentious few weeks, but the Dancing With the Stars pair is ready to move full steam ahead.

After Burgess openly told Nyle DiMarco last week that he and Wanya Morris were contenders to win the season, Brown took issue. The NFL star confronted Burgess in this week's rehearsal package, saying, "We have a team. We should have each other's back."

He confirmed that he was in it to win the Mirrorball trophy too: "I want to win it. You should want to win it, too."

Fences have been mended, and now Burgess is discussing their relationship in a new column for Extra.

"Now we are on the same page and stronger than ever. We have created a great friendship, but as his coach I had to knock him down a little bit so he could fight to get back up," Burgess writes. "And he could prove not just to me, but to himself and all the fans that were watching that actually he does want this. He does smile in the face of adversity and we can still win this. For us. For our fans. For Steeler Nation. We can still take this all the way to the end!"

Brown and Burgess are going into new week's Team Dance with confidence. The male celebrities will be competing against the female celebrities, so Brown is joining DiMarco, Morris and Miller.

"We have a fantastic song and I really think we could win this one for the boys," Burgess writes. "I know nobody wants to go home, but we do have double elimination so every point counts. We also have the Tango next week for Icons Week with an incredible Rolling Stones song."

"Going on Week 7, Team Boomin is back. We are stronger than ever and we are about to make everyone proud!"

Dancing With the Stars airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
