Black Claw is itching to get their hands on a Grimm artifact, and the wesen paramilitary group will take Nick Burkhardt hostage to do so.

The battle between Hadrian's Wall and Black Claw has been brewing all season long, and, when the two-hour finale rolls around, the later will make a play against the very man who has been trying to keep the rebellion under wraps.

Enter Bonaparte (Shaun Toub), a man hell bent on prying the Grimm linage from Nick's (David Giuntoli) hands.

"Bonaparte will do anything to get hold of a valuable artifact-the Grimm lineage book-that's in Nick's possession," showrunner David Greenwalt informed TV Insider. "This will give Black Claw the upper hand it needs for their revolution."

To ensure his mission is a success, Bonapart will literally get inside the Grimm's head. Who is this guy?

"It's an epic showdown," Greenwalt teased. "Our fans are going to see Nick at his most vulnerable."

Hadrian's Wall will also be looking for Bonaparte, either because they know he's a credible threat or because they want to monopolize whatever creepy supernatural ability he possesses.

Ominously titled the "Beginning of the End: Parts 1 & 2," the finale will air on May 20 at 8 p.m. ET.

"Black Claw makes a strategic move against Hank (Russell Hornsby) that shocks everyone and sends Nick on a war path. Hadrian's Wall ramps up their investigation as they seek out a mysterious man named Bonaparte," NBC teased. "Meanwhile, Adalind (Claire Coffee) and Capt. Renard (Sasha Roiz) must learn to deal with their new and very unpredictable reality with Diana (guest star Hannah R. Loyd)."
