'Walking Dead' Season 4 Spoilers: The Prison Group To Get Darker, Especially Carl? VIDEO
Unfortunately for the millions of Walking Dead loyalists, they must now wait it out for over six months for the zombie series' season 4 return.
Not much is known yet in terms of how its new showrunner Scott Gimple and his creative team will proceed with its fourth season.
However, while in attendance for the premiere of Trance, Norman Reedus (Daryl Dixon) recently spoke with Hollywood Life and dish on some of the show's details moving forward.
"I think [the governor's] evolution of a bad guy is not dead yet. To reach the comic book status, like in the comic book, the guy is so ferocious, he's on the precipice of becoming that guy. So the last episode wasn't about the war, it was about who is becoming what in that world. Carl, what he has become, Rick what he has become, what Daryl has become. That's the intro into season 4."
While the Governor is clearly getting more darker, Carl (Chandler Riggs) appears to be headed in that direction as well, according to Reedus.
"[Carl's] dark right now. I think he's going to get much darker. I think all of us are real dark right now."
Reedus also spoke about his character's dynamic on the rest of the prison group, as well as how he'll recover from the death of his brother Merle (Michael Rooker).
"I think having these people relying on [Daryl] is something he's never had before and he has this new sense of self worth that he never thought he could ever have. So through these people, that's the glue that's keeping him around. I think he'll go hard again after [killing] Merle. I think Merle is going to shut him down for a minute."
The Walking Dead is set to make its season 4 debut in October on the AMC network. Keep checking back for the latest details.
